About Our Trip To Africa!

Say Yes To Education Africa 2012: This is one of our scholars' dreams ... Since they will soon be graduating from High school, they really want to visit Africa before attending COllege. The youth, their parents and other supporters are now aggressively raising funds to visit Ghana West Africa in August of 2012. They are conducting grass roots fund raising activities, such as handmade craft sales, car washes, selling dinners, flea markets, dances, raffles, and other youth directed ventures. Even with this aggressive grassroots fund raising, we know we will need more support. We are also reaching out to individuals, foundations, businesses, and corporate sponsors hoping to receive financial support. The scholars are working hard to make this dream a reality. The trip to Ghana will be a life-changing event for everyone. The itinerary includes working on short-term projects, visiting hospitals, schools, universities and of course, the historic sites of the Slave Dungeons and cultural facilities.
